Make Coffee Like a Pro

With cooler temps on the way, one of the best ways to show off some of the manly skills you undoubtedly possess as a SOFA follower is to go camping. Yes, camping. But with all those survival skills at the ready, one of the hardest and most time consuming things to do while out in the bush is...make coffee. I've tried to use the cheap percolator on top of the fire and ended up blowing the glass top off and basically melting coffee maker. Enter the Jetboil Java!

The Jetboil will heat up water in less time than it takes to get a mosquito in your tent. And it comes with a handy tripod stand to help keep it from tipping over and igniting your gear on fire (not to mention saving you from the embarrassment of having to know how to put a fire out).

For fuel, the Jetboil uses these cheap (as in price) canisters that will last plenty long for a weekend outing.

The Jetboil also makes a great compliment to any home survival kit for use during a power outage or zombie apocalypse.
