Make way for GuyRaoke

We hosted our 1st SOFAraoke event at Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursday.  Attendance was heavy and so was the breathing from the college co-eds who had NO idea what to do with the injection of middle aged testosterone that swept over their bar.

Gone were the paeans to Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers, replaced by "One Tin Soldier (Ode to Billy Jack)" and "The Night Chicago Died".  The SOFA Grand Poobah, Frazier, opened the night with his stirring rendition of "Shadows of the Night" by Pat Benatar, but it would not be the last time that the crowd erupted into cheers.  Brian  showed off his pipes and his chest hair when he entertained the crowd with "Sweet Melissa" and resident realtor Matt  proved that he can open hearts as well as houses with his in the original German "99 Luft Balloons".  AB reaffirmed the popular belief that Ukuleles are still SUPER dorky even when you're making up for "Broken Promises" and Whitney and Davet struck a blow for marriage equality with "I Got You Babe".   **

** Or at least that's how I imagine it would have gone.
